The PLAENGYAO 33K SUPER HALF MARATHON 2025 is set to take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Wang Yen Subdistrict Administrative Office in Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province. The race offers four distance categories: a 33 km Super Half Marathon, a 21 km Half Marathon, a 10 km Mini Marathon, and a 5 km Fun Run. The 33 km race will start at 04:00 a.m., with race pack collection available from 03:00 a.m. on race day.
Runners of all ages are welcome to join. Age group categories are available for the 33 km, 21 km, and 10 km distances, ranging from under 29 to over 60 years old. The 5 km Fun Run will be open to all and award trophies to the top 10 male and female finishers, regardless of age group.
Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners of each distance. Age group trophies will be given to the top five finishers in each category for the 33 km, 21 km, and 10 km races. Fun Run participants who finish in the top 10 overall will also receive trophies.
Entry fees vary by distance: 900 THB for the 33 km, 800 THB for the 21 km, 650 THB for the 10 km, and 500 THB for the 5 km Fun Run. A VIP entry option is available for 1,200 THB, allowing the participant to choose any race category. All fees include VAT but exclude handling charges. Registration is non-refundable, non-transferable, and will close at 11:59 p.m. (UTC+7) on September 30, 2025.
Race pack collection will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wang Yen office. Participants may also collect their kits on race morning starting at 03:00 a.m. A valid ID or a photo/copy of the ID and confirmation email must be presented at pick-up. Race packs may be collected by a representative with written consent and a copy of the participant's ID.
The race will use a Gun Time system. Participants must follow the designated course, pass all checkpoints, and wear their race bib clearly on the front. Bib transfers and switching race categories are strictly prohibited. Winners must present valid ID to claim prizes.
The event is organized by the Wang Yen Subdistrict Administrative Organization and official timing will be provided by Sportstats Asia.
Race Rules and Regulations
- The decision of the race committee is final.
- All race categories will be timed using the Gun Time system (official clock time at the start line).
- Participants must meet the age requirements of their selected category and present a valid national ID before collecting any awards.
- Winners registered under the incorrect age group or race category will forfeit all prizes and finisher entitlements.
- All winners are required to present valid identification (national ID with photo or passport) showing their ID number and photo within the specified time to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the prize list.
- Participants must follow the official course and pass through all designated checkpoints as instructed by race marshals.
- Race bibs must be clearly displayed on the front of the body at all times. No items (e.g., running belts or pouches) should cover the bib.
- Runners using another person’s bib or running under incorrect registration information will be disqualified.
- The organizer will not be held responsible for the following:
- njuries or accidents during the event (medical teams and emergency staff will be on standby).
- Loss or damage of personal belongings. 9.3.
- Delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.
- Entry fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or postponement due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
Declaration
- I hereby declare that the details furnished above are true and correct to the best of my knowledge my general state of health and fitness is healthy and shall provide to race officials such medical data relating to me as an organizing committee of the event, the hosting party may request.
- I understand that I have a responsibility for ensuring my own fitness to participate in the event.
- I understand that my participation in this event, under the circumstances that I am not adequately in physical form, may endanger my health. I am aware that the organizing committee of the event, the hosting party, the organizers and producers and sponsors will not undertake any responsibility for any harm that I may endure, including bodily harm that may occur prior to the event, during or thereafter, nor are they responsible for any lost or damaged belongings.
- I give permission for my personal information and details to be processed for the purposes of event administration and further permit my name, quotes and photographic likeness in still photography or video to be used for the marketing and promotional purposes of the event.
